Ted Maselesele CA(SA)

Ted is a Chartered Accountant and registered tax practitioner with experience spanning financial analysis, audit, assurance, credit risk and sovereign-risk assessment. His analytical work includes evaluating macroeconomic, fiscal and financial information, contributing to the development and refinement of rating methodologies, and supporting the preparation of evidence-based credit assessments.
His broader expertise covers financial reporting, financial modelling, valuation, regulatory compliance and risk analysis. He brings a rigorous, data-driven approach to assessing financial performance, creditworthiness and institutional risk, supported by strong technical judgement and attention to analytical quality. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the African Credit Rating Association. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Monash South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Sciences from the University of Johannesburg. He is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). He is also a registered SARS Tax Practitioner through SAICA.
